Oregon teen provisional instruction permit
Oregon teens ages 15–17 use a Provisional Instruction Permit before the first provisional driver license. The permit stage combines supervised practice with the state's age and training rules.

Parent or guardian approval
A parent or legal guardian signs the teen application unless an allowed legal exception applies.
Hold the permit at least six months
Oregon requires the under-18 permit holder to satisfy the six-month period before the driver-license road test.
