Wyoming learner-permit requirements
Wyoming offers a regular learner permit plus a separate restricted hardship permit for qualifying younger teens.

Regular learner permit
The regular permit is generally issued to minors 15–16 and can also be issued to older people learning to drive.
Pass written and vision testing
Applicants appear at a local driver exam office with the required documents; minors under 18 need a parent or guardian signature.
Drive with a licensed adult 18+
The supervising driver must occupy the front passenger seat and hold a license appropriate for the vehicle.
