Texas driver license fees
Texas DPS currently lists a new Class A, B or C driver license at $33 for applicants age 18 through 84. A new under-18 driver license or learner license is $16.

Common Texas Class C fees
DPS lists $33 for a new Class A, B or C driver license for ages 18 through 84. For an applicant under 18, a new driver license is $16 and expires on the 18th birthday. A new under-18 learner license is also listed at $16.
A replacement driver license is currently $11. DPS notes that the displayed amounts include its administrative fee except where the page says otherwise.
Age changes the fee and expiration
Texas does not use one price and validity period for every age. Applicants 85 or older have a separate fee and shorter validity, while under-18 credentials expire at the 18th birthday.
