Authorized third-party testing exists

Approved One Stop Driver Training and Testing programs can administer knowledge and/or skills tests for eligible first-time Class D applicants.

Road-test arrangements depend on the provider

Confirm whether your selected SCDMV branch or authorized testing school requires an appointment and what vehicle/document rules apply.
