Plan written testing early enough
MVD says state offices typically stop starting written tests late in the afternoon so applicants have enough time to finish.

MVD-contracted driver-education schools may administer authorized written and road testing.

Use the current MVD locator or contracted-school list to verify where your transaction can be completed.
