Missouri State Highway Patrol administers the driving-skills examination. Teen GDL applicants must meet the permit-hold, practice-hour and driving-record requirements before taking the road test for the Intermediate License.

Teen prerequisites come first
Before the Intermediate License road test, the teen must satisfy the 182-day permit period, practice-hour requirement and driving-record conditions.

Complete issuance at a license office
After passing the MSHP test, the licensing transaction is completed through Missouri's license-office system.
