Use the current Iowa manual as the source of truth
Iowa DOT publishes the complete manual and separate chapter PDFs. The chapters cover your license, traffic signs and rules of the road, preparing to drive, basic driving skills and applying those skills in real traffic.
Keep the live Iowa DOT manual bookmarked because licensing procedures and traffic rules can change after older third-party study pages were written.
