Colorado road test
Colorado drive skills test
Colorado DMV does not conduct regular drive skills tests at state driver license offices. Applicants schedule the skills test with an approved third-party driving school and then use the passing result for the license process.

Book with an approved testing school
Use Colorado DMV's approved school list rather than an unverified testing provider. Schools may offer driver education, behind-the-wheel training and the official skills test.
Meet your permit requirements first
Adults can test after the permit is issued; minors must satisfy the age, permit-hold, driving-log and any driver-education requirements that apply to them.
Return to the license process after passing
Keep the approved test result and follow the DMV's current instructions for the final driver-license transaction.
