Current Class C fees
The DMV fee page lists $46 for an original Class C application, renewal or adding a motorcycle class to the license. It separately lists $37 for a replacement or information-change transaction and $9 for a behind-the-wheel retest.
Use the live DMV fee table before paying because fees can change independently of the handbook.
The application fee covers more than one step
For a first license, the application process includes the document review, vision and knowledge-test steps before the behind-the-wheel phase. A failed driving test can create a separate retest charge.
Separate DMV fees from training costs
Teen driver education and behind-the-wheel instruction can involve private-provider charges that are not part of the DMV's licensing-fee table. Compare those separately from the state transaction fee.
