Oklahoma first driver license for adults
Applicants age 18+ do not have to obtain a learner permit before taking the drive test, though they may choose one for practice.

Complete the knowledge/vision step
Prepare from the current Driver Manual and use Service Oklahoma's written-test scheduling options unless a qualifying driver-education completion waives the knowledge exam.
A learner permit is optional at 18+
An adult can proceed without a learner permit, but if they choose a permit for practice, Service Oklahoma requires it to be held at least 30 days before the unrestricted-license step.
