Complete the first-license application steps
Adults do not use a learner-permit stage for ordinary practice, but first-time applicants still complete the state's documentation, vision, knowledge and road-test process.
Prepare for the knowledge test
The automated test has 40 multiple-choice questions and a 40-minute limit. More than eight incorrect answers ends the test, so at least 32 correct are needed.
Prepare for legal practice and the road test
New applicants complete a road test after the vision and knowledge testing requirements. Bring the required sponsor driver and an eligible vehicle.
