Nevada permit requirements
Nevada instruction-permit requirements
Nevada teens can apply for an instruction permit at age 15½. Adults may also obtain an instruction permit for practice, although Nevada's adult route makes the permit optional before the road test.

At age 18+, the permit is available for supervised practice, but Nevada's adult licensing path does not make the permit mandatory for everyone.
Teen practice before licensing
Before the road test, teens complete 50 supervised hours including 10 at night and meet the six-month permit requirement.
