Kentucky appointment guide
Kentucky testing and office appointments
Kentucky separates testing from credential issuance. KSP handles test appointments; Driver Licensing Regional Offices handle the permit and license transaction.

Schedule testing with KSP
Kentucky says all first-time written and road skills testing is scheduled and administered by Kentucky State Police.
Regional Office is a separate step
After passing the appropriate test, complete the permit or license issuance through a Driver Licensing Regional Office.
Use the official office finder
Kentucky's office finder shows Regional Office locations and appointment options; walk-ins are also accepted at Regional Offices.
